Tube winding

Our glue ensures you with the quality of tube as well as its strength. Solutions for diverse materials decrease manufacturing costs while increasing the overall performance product.

Tube winding is the industrial process where from 2 to 30 cardboard plies are glued together, depending on the desired tube wall thickness and strength. The plies are spirally wound on a mandrel and fastened by means of rubber belts. Finally, the tube is cut to the desired length. Beside the type of paper and the number of plies the glue has also a significant influence on the quality of the tube as well as on its strength.

MITOL provides solutions for diverse materials as well as different application methods (rollers, cascade systems, dipping trays) used in the production process.
